Re: Safest way to introduce the birdies ^_^

Hi---I always place the Cock bird in the Aviary first---leave him a few days then introduce the hen.
The reason being that the Cock bird is less territorial than hen.
Its what Ive always done and havnt had any problems so far.

Pairing Albinos

Hi A breeder has told me that 2 Albinos probly wont mate sucessfully.Just wanted other breeders thoughts on this.
If its true---what color cock bird would you suggest pairing with my Albino hen?

Pairing Albino's

Like your input on this----
A breeder has told me that a Albino cock and a Albino hen will most proably not breed sucessfully.
I have my doubts on this theory as the Albino hen I have came from Albino parents.
Thanks for your opinions.

They should hatch about 22--25 days after the second egg was laid---or the same time after the hen started to sit.

Hi It is possible to neutralise the coating on the wire by scrubbing with a mixture of vinegar and water.Just put about a cup of vinegar to about 2 litres of water----scub with a brush or broom and then hose off.
