My bird's wound is getting much better, I took him to a vet and gave me some medicine that I had to rub on his wound 2 times a day now its getting much better, I have a question he doesn't make any noise he only talks sometimes when he sees his reflection is that in there normal nature?

This is how it looks when I spread the feathers, but when not spreaded it looks like the pictures you posted, any ideas?, but he is fine nothing wrong with I think.

yes its very similar to this but I dont think he is young as he has a ring around his neck, the other day I was petting him and opening the hole, there is like a line on his chest a stright line no blood or anything, but no feathers when I open it but when normal it looks like the picture you posted...

When he see's a mirror thats the only time he will make sound, when he sees a reflection of himself, and another thing, I get him on my hand and start to pet him and we are friends than the next day when he is in his cage when you wanna change his food he starts backing away like he doesn't know you...

No he doesn't do any of that, sometimes you dont see it but when he stands still you can, I will take a picture and update.

There is a small hole on my ringneck on his chest its not a hole its just there is not alot of feathers its a small spot, is this normal?

He is beginning to get used to the step up, but until now not a single sound is this normal for a ringneck???

its amazing and funny how active they are but sometimes, they can be hard, I was trying to make him step up but he just bites and bites my hand everytime I want him to step from the wood to my hand still no success , but lets me pet him sometimes not all the time

Thanks for your feedback, I don't think he is sick, he is very active he flips in his cage and jumps from one wood to the other than ofcourse he rests for a bit, when I let him out he finds a good spot to hide and doesn't leave, but remember that now I have had him only for about a week, I think he ...

I agree with you, dont tape him just clip his wings, thats what I did yesterday, but let us know about your progress with him

by the way, how do I know the age of my ringneck? I know that he is atleast 3 years old cause he has a ring around his neck??? is there any way i can tell how old he is???? whats the average lifespan of these parrots? I read they live from 20 to 25 years??
