He now eats from my hand :D even when i put my hand in the cage
He still bites though and does not come near the hand when there's no food
I also discovered that his favorite food was sunflower seeds

an update: he now sleeps in front of me and will come out of it's cage on it's own

He does have a rope which i put there for him to climb an chew on
I'm working on getting other toys for him right now

I already helped a friend numerous time before clip his cockatiel
Its just that he used to clip all 10 feathers.
We used to hold the bird in a towel then, somebody would clip the wings

yes and the breeding program was very successful They started with about 12 birds and have now reached 500 It is supposed to be endangered, but i know a lot of people who do so and haven't got any problems plus no one ever mentioned that we're not allowed to keep them I'm sure they have been captive...

Yes, the rare echo parakeet, i may eventually be getting one as i did not have the time to get a closer look at the birds.The only external difference is the shorter tail but i was told it has the same behavior as the IRN

Taming

I'm about to buy an IRN but i've only been able to find adults and these are untamed :cry:
I'd like to know if it is possible to tame an adult and how much time it may take to do so
