We have had our 7 yr old IRN since August. She would step up on my hand at first and now doesn't care to. I have an extra perch that I use to have her step up on and she is totally okay with that. I have been working with Tessa to step onto my hand occasionally in between using the perch. She has go...

Our IRN likes to step up on a perch or stick best. When you are moving to bare hands, hold the glove in your hand and have your IRN step up onto your hand. Ours loves to perch on my shoulder too and let me do whatever around the house.

When we play with our IRN we don't really grab her beak, but she loves to rub her beak in between my fingers. She hasn't bitten me for it, but when I say "give me a kiss" she'll lean over and rub her beak in the same manner.

New to IRNs
We just got an IRN this week! Our first one and she is awesome! We named her Tessa. She is from a local rescue, hand tame and about 7 years old. This forum has been very helpful already. Thanks!
