I keep one of my irns in the cage with my cockatiel. They get along pretty well. Though I must say the cockatiel tries to hog all the attention.

Color question

I have a hen aproximately two or three years old, bought from a friend who no longer could handle the bird. She bought the bird at a flea market. I know it is a hen becuase she laid eggs. She seems to be a very odd color of greenish brown, but not all over, just mainly on her head and back and wings...

looking for genetic education!

Does anyone know of a site that has the genetic codes for the various mutations paired with a photo of the mutation? I'm having trouble remembering which mutations mask which, and what is produced when two are present and such. I do tend to remember more easily when I see it rather than just read it...

Well, ok, I sure did want an albino though. I guess I'll just have to keep waiting. Mother nature isn't on my side it appears. thanks for the info.

I bought a pair of breeding irn's from a guy in arizona, danny pineda. Everyone i have talked to so far says he is very honest and knows exactly what he is talking about. The pair i bought from him are both lutino's split to blue, according to him. He said they would throw lutino's and white's. So f...

ino questions

:? Ok, i have lutino ringnecks split to blue. I was told this produces albinos, is this correct? If so, what do i need to breed to produce blues? I thought two splits would produce blues since blue is recessive. Help? :D
