Ive wondered the same thing for my guy Syd. I read females can be very aggressive with males around breeding season so weve opted to look for a male friend.
I think if you work with both birds the bond will stay there. But you do have to work at it.

So I have to say that I was happy to find this site with such great information, especially when it comes to the females. I have read such terrible things on other sites on how females make terrbile pets and they arent ever sweet. Then I read here that isnt the case, granted all birds are different....
