Baby, you are once again showing us your bottom..hummmm. Yeah I often wondered about that very thing. I thought it was from my Besso chewing on newspaper when I first got him..now I know it isn't. I guess I like the solid red with no black on the beak best, looks "cleaner" You want to share beak pic...

Yeah I agree with all of you:) My mom liked it last night when I did my "nightly show" where I hop around and give out a squeal or two. She loves that stuff...esp the hopping and the talking to the wall thing I do I get so much attention, I love it. Then the Quaker starts trying to be cool like me.....

My Besso is 9 months old and had only bitten me once...so far. No strangers for Besso..totally freaks out and trys to flee. Will accept step ups from my partner Not many people visit me..and if they do the quaker is the "star". Much to the delight of all the rest of the birds!! Eyes pin, fluffy head...

I have a sweet tiel, a sassy quaker ~ who is alot like a puppy, a conure who is hard to describe and my Besso the IRN:) I can put Besso on his back, scritch his belly, kiss under his wings, shower with him and then have him "pin" in all in the same minute...they are very complex and simply unique......

All of my flock are different, but my IRN is usually the last up in the morning. But my IRN is also the youngest bird I have.....kinda have to say he looks kinda dazed also Jen.
Never has my IRN woken me up but then again we are up at 4am every day in my house!!

I love it when parrots communicate with talking, while mine doesn't talk yet (8 months old) he commonicates just fine with me...I get the wolf whistle about 10 times a day. Makes this girl feelpretty darn good!! LOL

Did you go and see the baby this weekend? I do love the lutinos, I had 5 to pick from when I got my Besso and one was a lutino, but she ( DNA female) was a bit more fiesty so I passed. Congrats on getting your baby IRN I do believe that all parrots esp IRNs "test" us, and your guy is so young that I suspect he is testing the waters as to what is acceptable conduct, and such. I can only tell you from my own personal experience, and that is they will tolerate anothers birds presence, but none of it seems to be welcome. My IRN will yell alot at the other birds as if they are bugging her/him, he'll chase them, bite, whatever. I think my IRN would be perfectly happy being a ...
