Re: natural jute twine
I probably wouldnt have bought it if i had smelled it myself but it was my mum that got it when she was out. I shall try a craft store like you suggested. New motto: smell before you buy! (Yes parrot people really do say the weirdest things) i suspect i will get a few odd looks aswell

I emailed the garden centre i bought it from to check with them and as far as i know they are enquiring about it. I am pleased with the toys i made using it but i definitely ...

peanuts for wild birds safe?
Hi
I was given a bag of approved peanuts for wild garden birds and i was wondering if these are safe for my IRN as i used to give him peanuts from the pet store but heard awful tales about toxic mold on the nuts?

Where do you buy the nuts you feed you IRN? Do you just get them from the shop or a pet store?

Re: taming
I just had Elmo out and i decided to use step up to teach him not to bite. I did this when i got him but after a few nasty bites i became less confident around him. I followed advice that said to avoid a situation where he could bite so iv never really used the step up command as i taught him to fly...

Re: taming
Yeah i left both bowls in and he was quite unsure about the larger one so after a while i took out the smaller one and he drinks out the larger one now. He couldnt take a bath in the small one as there is a thin metal bar across the top attached to the door for perching. Elmo isnt very confident. He...

Re: taming
My doors have glass in them with carved wooden framing which that would sadly not mold to. I think i am going to try covering it up with something though. Hi all :) My IRN Elmo was in a bad way when i bought him from a breeder.
