my irns first egg has hatched,im just wondering if im feeding her right so that she can feed her bubbies(2 more to come)
heres what they get,

fresh seed everyday
pellets every second day
and also fresh fruit and vegies everyday

just wondering if i need to cook the vegies a little to soften them to make it easier for her to feed the young,also should i do this with the seed.

I wouldn't think so. Cooking destroys nutrients and enzymes unless perhaps it is a quick steam?

It might be worth a try for the harder veggies if she has begun to avoid eating them in favour of the softer ones. Otherwise I see no reason to cook them.

The seed should be fine as it is.
