Introducing myself

Hello, my name is Sandylou and I have five cockatiels. I have also recently acquired a pair of five year old Indian Ringnecks. Maverick is green and Starbaby is white. The male seems to be much more adventurous than the female as far as landing on or near us and though I've read that they need to be handled I'm not sure how to go about it. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
