Sound He Is Allergic To Something So Please Take Him To Your Avian Vet To Find Out, If Leave Late, Could End Up Something Serious.

Sorry if im stating the obvious here but..
Is the seed mix ok? damp seed can be very bad. Maybe has been stored badly at the shop,
Have you been removing the seeds from the apples and grapes.
Quite new to this myself but believe these seeds are not good for them.
Also, have you been buying organic fruit....or washing the fruit over and over and over before giving to the IRN. Pesticides are also not good.
And is there anything in the room or are you using anything that may be causing this, cleaning chemicals, air fresheners, scented candles etc etc....it may be something simple.
Would take him to the (wont let me put the name LOL) is the short name for Richard. D*ck Animal hospital, Edinburgh University
Give them a phone on 01316507650, and they will let you speak to an Avian Vet, Register and get some advice/appointment
I live in Edinburgh as well, and have registered with them......best avian vets in the area.
Hope all works out ok.....

Upload pics to
http://tinypic.com or similar site, but this one is quite good.
select size for web, upload and copy the IMG code into your posts
Just put some pics up on the Image forum of my IRN Pepe
How is your bird this morning? Did you check the room for anything that may be causing problems.
How about cage location as well? Where do you have his cage?
My IRN is from a breeder, hand reared, about 9 weeks old and a little menace already.
Take your time to build trust with your IRN, speak to him a lot. Dont rush it. He needs to know you are not a threat....he will settle in eventually.

Yeah they are very loud vocal birds. Try not to give him too much attention if he is very noisy, or he may scream for attention.
Sit next to the cage and talk to him gently is the first stage.
Maybe try leaving the door open and leave a treat close. He will come out when he feels comfortable around you.
Try and socialise with him as much as possible.
Takes time, you dont know how he has been treated previously.

Hmm
is it the IMG code you are using, just copy and paste into post, then preview to see if works, may take a second to appear?
Should work from tinypc.com
p.s the avatar uses the direct html link....i.e the one that ends .jpg
Yeah sound live he is very nervous of people...Will take time I think.

Hey, all you do is upload them to photobucket, then copy the right image code onto the board.
