"Full size" when?

Forgive me if this information is on this forum somewhere. I've done searches here and on Google and can't find the answer to my question. Bingo is still a baby at 2 months old, and it seems that s/he's still noticeably smaller than adult IRNs. The vet pointed out that s/he doesn't have all of his/her tail feathers yet and that the tail has a lot of length yet to grow. When can I expect Bingo to be as big as s/he's going to get? I'm not talking sexual maturity, just size-wise. I asked the vet, and she said about 3 months, but that seems like an awful lot of growing in that short time.

Don't worry, in 3 months you could notice a change in size. In another 3 months, you'll still notice change in size. They will grow until 2 to 1 year old. Maybe even until 3 years...

Its hard to say. They just get the beautiful long tail feathers in and then molt and loose them, so its not judgeable by tails. And like people some are of a chunkier build and some are a slimmer build.
Is there a reason you need to know what size your bird is going to be?

No reason other than curiosity. Bingo can stretch and look a lot more like the adult pictures I've seen, but in his/her usual stance it reminds me of my own kids when they had their "baby fat."

Yea, i love the long tails on them. Do not worry, they will grow in.
