Hi my IRN Archie, poos out of the bars of his cage at night, furthermore he hangs in the corner all night clining with his beak and feet? During the day he is a normal, very tame bird who will quite happily pearch on the top of the cage, finger, or couch. has anyone any ideas why he does this? :?

He has also started to growl at me a little and will bite when he does not want to be moved or touched. His mood can change very quickly, as he has just run across the floor to my hand so that he can pearch on my shoulder?

Any help with my first post would be much appreciated.

I had a budgie that used to do that, i would hear him all night
wen the lights would go out, i would listen to him climb around the whole cage. Wen i turn the lights on by surprise, i used to catch him in the corner.

Its because they can't see, they are blind in the dark. Put a night lamp by him before sleep and see what happens.

A couple of my ringies prefer to sleep in the corner hanging by their beak just like yours, while others prefer to sleep on a perch.
I would have thought hanging by your beak all night would be uncomfortable but obviously not!
