I'm no good at using the genetic cal so i thought i would ask for anyone's opinion on my green pair
I don't know anything about the parents either
anyway they both have yellow under their wings and blue tail feathers

does this mean they are split to these colours
sorry if this is a silly question
but i know basically nothing about colour's/splits ect....
What colour babies should i expect

Hi,
All Green IRNs look like that description you just wrote. Splits cannot be seen by looking at the color of birds' feathers. The genes are hidden.
Expect Green babies... unless the parents are split to other mutations.

Thanks Jay
I wasn't sure if that was the norm for greens
but i suppose i will find out this year if they have diff coloured babies
then will that mean they are split to something
doesn't matter to me if i get greens anyway as i love them
Finger's crossed, as this should be their first year to breed
