I had my cocketiel on my hand near my IRN's cage. He noticed this and climbed on the cage door to get a closer look. He went up to my hand and started nipping gently with his beak and poking my hand. I stayed real still as not to startle him. Also he lets my get real close to him with my face without running away. He still will not come onto my hand ( I keep it closed) . Is this progress?
