My IRN has been loosing a lot of white fluffy feathers, he / she is a lutino and about 6 months old , is this normal i never see him/her pluck any feathers,

is it that time of year they might, by the way in im nsw if that helps with climates and times of year

the white fluffy feathers sound like down and its normal for all birds to loose a lot of them

thats what they are thanks sheena , a friend of mine has an irn from the same litter as mine, their birds feathers are very smooth looking while mine are a bit scruffy looking and a lot of white down feathers on the ground , my bird is healthy eats well, droopings arent loose, happy as really , nothing to worry about then
