Almost impossible to tell the size of a bird from sitting on a hand in a photo... hands are countless from small to large sizes heh. Alexandrines are very large, some are larger than others, some smaller.
Looks like a happy bird.

I agree with Fah, it also depends on if the bird is sitting up straight or in a more relaxed position. I would definitely say male though, going off the fat head.

my alex not sure if it's a boy or girl is only 7months and is that big with a long head just depends on the bird

Oh...he looks nice.
Reminds me of the Dodo 's from "ICE AGE".
I have two kids under 4 so we watch it a lot.
I don't say this to be mean at all.... I think your Alex is very good looking.
Please post more pics as we love them here on the forum.
