the big Macaw cage

my new Irn has found a new place to hang out. I was fostering a Citron crown Cocatoo for awhile until we found hima suitible home after his Mama died well I haven't had a chance to dimantle the cage yet so its still set up in my dining room taking up a great deal of space but I don't know if I can now My new baby has decided that its the best place in the house to hang out and play he love to chew on the big natural wood branch on the playtop and run up and down on the ladders he chews the bark and hangs from the biong and all the things that where there when the cocatoo was there As soon as I open his cage for him to come out I no sooner turn my back and there he is waddling over to that cage and up onto the play top. I don't know what todo I don't want to have that cage there for to much longer but he's got so attached to it I hate to take it away from him what would you do in this situation?
