Hi all

I got this bird yesterday, from a friend who visited the flea market. He was told the bird is about a month old.

I have feed the since I have got. It always seems to be on a lying poisition and not keeping its head up. While feeding though briefly the bird does lift its head.

However she is shivering a lot, its winter her but the temperatures in the room's about 20 and the bird is kept in wood shavings. The bird is on a diet of cerelac wheat with fruits, ever since i got it. I used to give the same for my fischers when they where weaning.

You need to take it to a vet as soon as possible, for one thing, it looks way too young to have left the nest, and it definitely looks sick.

Do you think it's younger than the said one month ?
Here in Saudi Arabia information so how it was obtained and all are hard to source. But like you said I'll take it to a vet as soon as possible.

I'm not a breeder so I can't say with certainty, but looking at its feathers, there are still a lot of baby pin feathers, I wonder if it was stolen from a nest.

I wouldn't rule that out too.
