weird thing Rosie does

I think, my little lady is doing mating behavior at my husband. She crouches down lowers head then tips it upwards while tweeting softly. She steps up on him and climbs to his shoulder with no problem. If my husband is in another room and she hears him talk she does the same behavior. She seems to go into a trance.

Any ideas?

Yes, this is female body language, and is Not just mating linked, it is also used to signal affection. Although I refer to my bird as male (because I was obviously lied to by the breeder) "Sanjay" at seven is female, and does this every day when she wants me to pet her. When my late husband was alive, she would call to him if he was in another room, and he would call back. Btw, I call her "Sweetie", "Sanjay" is the name she used to go by, and is just her forum name. :D
