Welcome to the forum and the family.. Can;t wait to see pics of your new baby. Is that Jay as in Depois that is a member here ? Any questions you have just ask away, there is too much about these birds to list, so when you have a question ask and we shall help.

Suggestion: for the forums sake, could you please make the size of your signature picture smaller, so it doesn't push all the words out of the sites frame. Cheers !

Hello! I'm Steffi

I'm new to this forum as well. I'm from Melbourne. I've owned birds all my life but have never owned a IRN before.

I recently became mum to an 18month old ringneck named Sunny.

I adopted Sunny from some friends who have a new human baby.

Sadly they don't have the time to spend with him/her now so they offered him/her to me.

Sunny was hand reared by them and he is pretty tame. I was told that he is male but I'm not sure. I'm not fussed whether Sunny is male or female, but I would like to refer to him/her as either a he or a she....lol

I'm looking forward to looking through this website and finding out as much information I can about caring and training Sunny and also to meet some pretty interesting owners of these fabulous birds.

Hello everyone! I will also be getting a ringneck soon - also from Jay - not sure if he is the same one your all talking about - Krameri Avaries. I'll be getting a blue - hopefully within the next 4 -5 weeks. My IR will be making its home in New Mexico.

Can't wait!
