Hi yall,

My Kokkewiet is just getting cuter and cuter by the day.

First of all, Kokkewiet is moulting, his feathers are falling off like crazy.

Secondly, I have to tell you guys how cute my baby is.
Yesterday I was eating a burger and my Kokkewiet wanted to eat with me, if I don't give him, he wants what is in my mouth. When I finished the burger, I laid on the sofa and he played with my hair. And if he sees I am watching TV and not giving him any attention, he leaves my hair, and comes and stands infront of me, forcing me to give him attention. And when I finally give him attention he wants me to kiss him, and if I don't kiss him, he stretches himself to my mouth, then he kisses me. JUST SO DARN CUTE!!
Last night, I went to the bathroom and I left Kokkewiet with my husband. Kokkewiet didn't keep quiet for one second, calling and calling me. My husband had to bring him to me.



Guys, I need your advice. Kokkewiet is talking but the only words he really says is his name and Hello. I am learnin him other words and songs but he doesn't care about that. I taught him a nursery song and he sang it in the beginning but not anymore. He only sings it when I sing it....
Am I doing something wrong.....?

Sounds like a darling & like you are a great parront! My little one still hasn't managed to string a word together, though she makes lots of human sounds and I am sure she is mumbling something just under her breath. Would love to see photos (after the feathers come back if he is too vain for photos mid moult).

That’s so cool I love when they get all lovie with you and the demand for your attention is so funny sometimes the ay they go about it.

You know...I don't think there is any real trick for speech...other than repetition...

He sounds like a one great fid though
