Are you talking about a brooder or an incubator? Can't tell ya on the nest boxes I buy mine already made but I'm sure you can find someone that has made one in past posts. I made my brooder out of a rubber maid tub put a heating pad in it (Ones that don't shut off in 2 hours) stays on till you turn it off and then a towel over that and about 2" of aspen wood shavings over that. I cut holes in the top of a small butter tub and filled it with water, that give me the humidity I needed. Incubators is for hatching the chicks a brooder is for when you pull them from the nest to hand feed.

i make all my nest boxes for my birds and also for my irn's a large clock nest box would work dimensions are 12"W X 24"H X 12"D entrance hole is about 4" hole
