Guess what guys! I got a new IRN sitting here at my house now. She is a very light turquoise color. She is GORGEOUS!

Her previous owners dumped her at the store...and me being the SUCKER that I am I took her in. I don't have a name yet...

The new girl is settling in for the night...she is next to Prinny's cage and is staring at in at her. YES she has been vet checked and is healthy...hopefully pics will be coming soon.

I too, want another one...shhhhhhhhhhh, don't tell hubby, he wants one too....I want to let him think its his idea!....Oh Dani, what are you going to do with money anyway, but spend it...I mean you can't take it with ya, but you can take memories of all the love the birds give you. Really, having 8 birds is not that different here, than having 2 birds...The start up is costly with cage and toys, but overall food is just about the same...Now when I buy fruit and veggies its all gone. I don't have any left over to spoil. One bird can not eat a whole apple in one week, so half spoils...BUT 2 birds eat a whole apple in one week, no spoiled leftovers...See, makes great cost savings in long run LOL

You can get a good one on eBay for around $200, maybe a bit less, even! That's where my bf got mine!

if you have any frequent flyer or credit card "miles" laying around, there are some nice digitals available. Got mine with my AmEx points

make too many decisions that make it harder but, if you found out you were seriously ill tomorrow and may not live would you rather have the money in the bank or the bird...
I'd rather have the bird and make my last days worthwhile, giving and getting love.

I took in the new one because I knew she'd be going to a home that understood what an IRN truly takes. Heaven's knows there too many out there now and people don't realize what work they are...

I must be obsessive. I have carefully put money away because the person I have left "custody" of the critters when that Mack truck mows me down has enough vet bills already (she breeds Newfoundlands, to keep her cats and birds company) that I want to be sure that my crew are not a burden! So, when I get a new fid, I need money and the bird!!
