I bought my IRN 2 1/2 weeks ago from Petland. They said that she was molting. She just is only 4 1/2 months, but she is losing feathers and it looks like new ones are coming in. Mainly in her tail feathers. Can IRN's molt at 4 months old???

Yes they can. My Aya is going through her first molt. Some ringnecks molt at totally different times of the year. For example, all my ringnecks usually molt during the hotter months of summer, while Anikin, Archimedes's brother, likes to molt right after Christmas. Odd, huh?
