My inner child has taken over...

I dont know what it is... I am so content and serene. So playful and uninhibited. So carefree and confident.
I dont know exactly when it happened but recently it seems I have woken up and my inner child is in the forefront. I am dancing at 8 am, laughing at stupid **** on TV. Putting the dishes down and wiping my hands off just to watch Jared play with an airplane.
I bought a hammock and play out by the river... even if the kids wanna stay in. I dont hang out with them down there anymore, now I am teaching them to skip rocks, rather than constantly reminding them of gators.
And thats what I seem to have shed... my constant sense of worry... like a child too unwise to know the dangers. They dont evelope me to the point I (or anyone else for that matter) can have a good time.
One day I woke up and realized:
Chances are...
Noone is going to steal one of my babies.
No gator is going to get them.
They can go out on holidays (new yrs eve, for example) and not be killed by a drunk driver.
Baby has such a slim chance of ever actually catching anything awful that it is mute to even worth entertaining the notion until it happens.
To me, that must be what being a child must be like. I wouldnt know.
