eggs??????????

I just adopted a wonderful Indian ringneck her name is Tinkerbell and she is 14 I have had her for about 3 weeks for the last couple of days she has been fiesty and this morning she had a egg in her cage...is this normal how often does this happen will it hurt her???? sorry for so many questions but I just dont know.

yup that is normal even if there is no male about. She might go through a little bit of stress but thats about it. If u leave the egg in the cage she will soon get sick of trying to hatch it, then u can take it out.

my tobias is 13 years old this year. she lays 1 to 4 eggs every spring. round about the winter solstice i allow her to create a nest in an empty closet. she shreds a few magazines and vola... here comes the eggs. she trys like hell to hatch em. gets tired of it after about 4 weeks. she sure acts like a proud mother to be during that time. no worries... this has been going on for about the last 10 years and no ill effects.
