a bad day today

today when i drove an hour to meet sara and by my new ekkie(eclectus parrot) hollie, i stopped for gas and sara was at the gas station accross the streat from me. i went over introduced myself and was about to get into her car so she could let me hold her without her flying away when i realized i left my wallet on the gas pump accross the street. so in a panic i went back to the gas station and searched everywhere even in the trash cans and talked to everyone at the pumps and every employee there. all i could do was leave my information and hope someone turns it into the lost and found. i tried to report it stollen/missing to the police but the office was closed and the only way i could talk to a living person instead of a machine was if i had a 911 emergency or needed to get my car out of inpound. my uncle lent me the money for hollie. money he needs for his wedding next month.

not only did she and I go through all that trouble and time.
but i lost more than my wallet, and i.d.cards ,drivers license, and debit card, and my uncles money.
my deceased fathers id card was in that wallet! he died on thanksgiving day when i was 9 years old and my brother was only 7.
now i have no pictures of him that i can keep with me. i only have a few pics of him at all and now i have to go get one copied and resized to fit in a wallet which i also have to replace.
i cant believe after all that, in the last five minuets everything went crashing down.

but one of my dads favorite comedy movies contained this quote "do not go gentile into that good night, rage against the dying of the light!" (Dillon Thomas.)
so i have not given up. by any means now that i have had a couple hours to regather myself. i am farthest from it

my uncle isn't mad which is a big relief!
and i have allready got a plan
i spoke to my mothers boyfriend who is a bee keeper. it is honey season and he said he will lend me the money to pay back my uncle and let me work it off extracting honey.
he is also going to buy my off-road truck. when the next big batch of honey is done and then i will have the money for hollie. which should be in about a week to 9 days.

i will be all the way out there or anywhere hollie is, in a split second. (after a week or so)...lol

but for now i will be working in the bee yards without a protective jump suit, (because he doesnt have one in my size, but i can still wear a hat and vail to protect my head) and in the honey extracting room for the next week or so:-)

i have not lost any interest or seriousness in hollie becoming a part of my family. at least i got to see her in real life for a few seconds! :)

:( how sad and frustrating for you ... You seem to have a great attitude towards it all which is wonderful and very refreshing.

Things will work out .. you'll see. I know I trust in Gods plan.

Tough break, but a good lesson nevertheless.

I got robbed several years ago. I was on a cross country trip. stopped for gas, had my wallet on the dashboard of my car. left the car to go into the station to get a softdrink got back into my car drove off 400+ miles later I neede to get fuel, opened the wallet for $$ and it was all gone!

The guy who fueled up my car at the last stop had to have taken it...he was the only one around... he must have reached in took the cash and put the wallet back...I wasn't in getting that drink for more than two minutes.

Thieves are clever but nasty/

Man, thats happened to me twice... when my boys were younger.

It is so awful trying to jump through the ropes of getting everything closed/reopened, get license and CC's back... what a pain man.

Sad part is... If I was ever on hard times to the point I had to steal, I'd leave the peoples other stuff. Guess thats why Im not a theif, however. \

But the point Im making is they could get you your stuff back. Missing cash sucks, yes but having to deal with all the other idenity problems is the worst.

Sorry man... people suck. ((((big huggers)))

thanks guys :)
my uncle even offered to loan the money to me again, as long as i promised to pay him back before june 18th when he leaves for his honeymoon but i couldnt take it after what happened and everything
plus i dont like to barrow money at all. if i have to id starve before id ask for a large amount of money i could loose a few pounds so starving would do me some good. i really didnt want to barrow the first $550 but my uncle lent me the money so i wouldnt sell my breeding birds to get it, he likes them more than i do
