I want to post pictures for you guys and can't figure it out. Whats the secret? Oh, and she keeps doing the vibrating thing. My finger is in her mouth while she does it. She looks as though shes going to bite the way she opens her mouth. Then she puts her beak on my finger (running across her open beak) to the back of her beak where she cant open any wider and does the vibrating thing. I wish I knew what this was. Not the mention the whole time I am holding her she makes a cat meow sound ( drawn out) over and over and over!

Thats the feeding response, she's basically trying to get food out of your finger.

Upload your pictures to somewhere like photobucket and then you can paste the url with image tags into the post if that makes sense

Is that what she is doing? Is this something a younger bird does?

It sounds like it, a younger bird would definatly do that, but older birds if they really like you do it also. Some of my sun conures do it sometimes. oh also baby ringnecks do make that mewing sound when feeding. Thats why I called my pair of greygreens "mews"

I'm weird i have collective names for my birds. The Mews are the two greygreen babies I raised and the Flappy Ones are all 4 sun conures.

also when birds regurgitate in each others mouths when they bond. Maybe that is what it's doing, just not actually regurgitating. I've heard of birds going all the way and regurgitating on their favorite owner.
