Sapphire has decided that all her toys are much more fun after they have been held over water for a few minutes. She dyed her head bright blue last week from soaking a coloured foot toy before playing with it. She even managed to drag a large hanging toy into her water dish to soak it before she played with it.
I thought Nila was the champion of parrot soup for his efforts of taking pieces of Apple to his water dish and then bobbing for them, but Sapphire seems to be even more committed than him!
Today I gave Sapphire one of Nilas foot toys that he has ignored for ages and she flew straight to the bathtub on the bench, held her new toy in the water for 10 seconds then flew to a perch to destroy it. Yes, she has a blue foot now. Do you think she just likes the look?
