I have been trying to find a DF violet or cobalt blue chick in Melbourne Australia. Would be a bonus if it's tame as well

Do you use Facebook at all? There is a page/group on there called For Sale Indian Ringneck Mutation Asiatic Parrot Group - lots of Aussie breeders selling this years young at the moment. Could try your luck there?

I have breed 2 DF Violets This season + 1DF Violet Green/ blue, I also have 2 mature cobalt hens if they are of any help .
