yes, he'll be 'bluer' than his mother (if she is a Turquoise, rather than a TurquoiseBlue)

This is why he has no idea of her true colouring. She had at least three owners prior to him and no body is able to tell him her history. This was an experimental breeding between the pair.

I will let him know what shots we are after. It wont be until Saturday when he sees the bird, she is with his in laws safe from the bushfires at the moment.
He has said he will send photos through of the other bub too. Apparently no green feathers showing through as yet, just all baby blue/very light aqua.

I am so excited to hear that! He is my first ringneck. (im sure my first of many to come as i am totally smitten with him)
More and more come out over the hours. So cannot wait to see him fully feathered

Well updates... stumped!! I will get photos out in the natural light tomorrow.. more feathers... and more colours!! We have some more vibrant green only on the edges of the wings, Top of wings has a mixture of blue and new colour which is a very deep GORGEOUS blue. Around legs and abdomen is a baby blue. The tail...... VERY VERY light aqua which is almost white. Rainbow baby

Huge difference!! I can finally relax knowing what colour my bubba is.. wow the anxiety and excitement waiting to find out

I will definately keep the photos coming. So there is obviously no way of knowing sex unless dna'd?

I will do from now, Thankyou for your help getting them all up.
No new photos of dam... have requested them but nothing as yet.
Echos "green" areas are not longer green. All aqua now, apart from body and head which is a baby blue. Loving him!

Echo today at 5 weeks and 5 days old.

click on the pic to see it up the proper way, as it takes pb awhile after altering the orientation of the photo

alright, once you've got the app and have selected a picture, it should have 4 options down the bottom- an arrow within a square, a left arrow, a right arrow and an information icon. Press the information icon, from there you'll be able to select the image codes.
I always select the IMG as the picture will display on the page, rather than a link to the photobucket page.

Copy the link and paste within your post on here.

Hopefully it worked.. can you tell me why echo is getting grey through his wings? No tinge of any colour its just grey. He is very spangled or pearled.

don't worry about the grey...his feathers are still working their way out to lie the right way and some are tucked under when they should be over. A beautiful bird all around
