Hi looks like a normal blue ringneck, pics look as though you have used a flash when taking them.
Thanks

Re: What is she? ^^
I gathered, i just want to know history, more knowledge!
Re: What is she? ^^
Allyson, no disrespect but you will gain far more basic and essential knowledge with the purchase of either or both of 2 books than you will on a forum. I guarantee that you will enjoy your birds far more after that. If money is an issue I would go for the second book first.
They are:
T. Bastiaan's - Asiatic Parrots and Their Mutations
T. Martin's - Colour Mutations and Genetics in Parrots

Great book!!! Hard to find here in the states though a friend of mine has a copy. I'm still looking for mine.

I am owned by my birds...and I wouldn't have it any other way

Well i had a breeder over today to give me a nest box he took her out and held her and looked at her, suggesting she is a violet split. (he owns and breeds a large range of birds).. But when you look at her she has got a bit of violet in her.
Re: What is she? ^^
normal Blue. no Indian Ringneck can be split to Violet.

Hi Allyson. I believe I've talked to you on another of your threads. I just thought I'd throw in some pics for you as reference since I own both a normal blue and a violet.
The top one is a normal blue. The bottom one is a violet.
And here they are together.
Violet Blue is a visual mutation. Either the bird is Violet Blue or isn't. Violet can be found in other color mutations, such as Violet Green, but a bird can not be split for violet (non visual). Hope that helps

I think she is a normal blue , that's what he just said xD I don't care anyhow, I'm sticking to blue.
Re: What is she? ^^

Molossus...I think I sent you the pm. Not sure if it went through.
Allyson...unfortunately without a hatch date or background there really isn't any way to tell. If they told you 5 then you just have to go by that number
