What Sanjay likes best of all

Post by sanjays mummi »

Sanjays favourite foods have a new rival, Gooseberries. I found them on sale on our market today and thought I would try him with them. All else is being ignored as he gorges on the seedy soft pulp. Mm mm!

same way discovered that mittu likes cherries - throws the pulp out and plays with the hard seed for hours together :-)
amusing to see that fellow drop the seed on the floor and go dancing all around it as if it was a prey

im pretty sure cherry pits are toxic to birds so i would be cautious about letting him play with it..

Yes, they are, so I always remove them. Sanjay does'nt rate cherries tho', he prefers fruit rich in seeds, i.e Raspberries, Blackberries and Pomegranite, but OO! These Gooseberries!.

Thanks for the info. I will have to keep a lookout for them. It may not get cold enough to grow them here.

We bought Sanjay some organic sprouted seeds today and he loves them to bits. Does anyone else feed them to their IRN?.
