blue indian ringneck turnign yellow.?

I have a Blue lace wing.. Light sky Blue body.. Pure white head..
He's getting about 6 months now and starting to lose feathers and getting pin feather's on top of hes head
some on body.. but there bright yellow.. why is that.?

Possibly is a Turquoise Blue Lacewing or Rainbow as some people call them. The Turquoise factor can be noticable from the start or get darker as the bird gets older.

Hi,
Sounds like the Indigo mutation, this is typical with this mutation. The cream colouring comes through as they get older.
Is the yellowing more of a creamy colour?
