Male or female behaviour?

Post by DJLeeZ »

Hey guys, were trying to figure out if Choko is a boy or girl. He/she is still quite young so itll be a while until a ring shows up. Was wondering if theres any behavioral traits that differentiate male from female? One thing little choko has taken to doing lately is spreading his/her wings out to what appears to be a love heart shape whenever he/she walks up to one of his/her soft toys. His/her eyes zoom in to the size of pin pricks as well while doing this funny little dance as well. its quite cute to watch, i'm not sure if little one is trying to impress the stuffed toy or something! Any advice would be great, thanks guys :)

That is male courting behaviour however young birds can show both male and female behaviours.
