Hi guys, just wanting opinions on letting my IRN sleep in my room on a t stand? would that be fine to do or not?

Firstly, is food and water easily accessible on the T-stand? Does the bird feel comfortable sleeping there? I personally only like my birds to be out of their cage when I can supervise them but I know lots of people give them free roam of the house. Occasionally I have left them out when I've gone out for a short time but usually I get them to go back to their cage. I'm scared if they have free reign, they might chew through electrical cords or something like that. In the evening my guys automatically put themselves to bed when it gets dark... so my guys obviously feel more comfortable sleeping in their cage as they never attempt to sleep at night-time on their play gym... which is where they would probably choose to spend a large percentage of their waking hours.
