Mine were like that when I first got them too. It took them about a week to step up and stay, and two or three to take food straight from my hand.

Sound like he is just a bit stressed out with all the new things going on. ( move, cage, toys ext.) It may take him a week or so to get better adjusted. I normally sit right next to the cage unless they are really freaking out. An talk softy to him. Tell him every thing is ok and he’s safe. I normally give them a few days to settle in before really trying to handle them. Give him a bit of time and he will come around. Good luck and lets us know how he’s doing.

Rio took about a week to adjust and now my new one Jewel which I have had for two weeks is still not adjusted, she does step up but does not move around too much and when she is on my hand she tries to go back to her cage right away. I think it will take a while to get used to new surroundings and new people.
