So this thread is more of a request for the moment.
I read that male and female ringnecks have the same talking ability, but I've yet to see a female really talking (unless one of the young ringnecks I've seen never develope a ring) and so I was wondering; do any of you have a mature talking female?

Janey is two and has been talking for quite some time. It's not exceptionally clear... most visitors don't know what she is saying. Our male who is one learnt to talk from her... as he is far more intereseted in her than us!

Ellie.

one of my aviary hens talks, she learnt from the lady next door who lives in a granny flat in the backyard and people have to come through the daughters yard. when they come in they yell out "hello are you there" . The hen does this funny call type of noise and says hello hello and cackles like little old ladies.

No, she's very noisy already, it's the vocalization that's begining to make me wonder. :P
Though, I suppose it doesn't matter a great deal to me if she never mimics voice.

Just very curious.
