Hi guys,
Ive found myself a blue lacewing ringneck but it is 4.5 weeks old and hasn't been taken from the nest yet. Will this bird still be friendly? The breeder says she won't take him until it's 5 weeks old.
What do you guys think?
Cheers,
Amanda

A bird doesn't sing because it has an answer.......... it sings because it has a song.

depends how much time will be spent by the breeder hand raising the chicks. They can simply be fed and put back into the cage or they could be hand tamed. Hand taming requires a lot more time and interaction with the baby. ask if it will be hand tamed or just hand fed.

The breeder says she will be spending lots of time with them but she offered to sell one to me now and i can raise it myself.
The breeder wasnt concerened that ive never handreared a baby bird before. I think it may be best that i keep looking as some of the things this breeder has said sounds like she is more interested in the money than the bird
