One footed
Every time my new ringneck is on his perch in his cage he sits with one of his feet tucked in and making himself very ball like and pluffed up what does this mean?
Re: One footed
If he does this at night and a couple times a day and goes to sleep, but most of the time does something else, he may be just napping.
If he does it all the time, or even most of the time, take him to the bird vet RIGHT NOW.
Best wishes,

They tuck a foot away to warm it up. Generally, sitting on one foot means that they feel at-ease.

Well, that is true. If he is always on one foot and puffed up, it could be too always cold........

Re: One footed
You are right, the bird does need to spend some time being active.
