Father was Blue
Momma was Grey
Baby will be either: Green, blue or grey right?

Thank you!Chocobo wrote:no, you'll get visual Blue or Grey chicks.
The breeder had mentioned that with his last hatch [same parents] he ended up with some muted green birds; I think muted is the right word, it's the dusty green color not the bright green.

You can't get any green offspring from two blues series birds- the mother was probably a GreyGreen and not a Grey. she would also have to of been split to Blue to get Blue babies in the clutch.
So, Green split Blue x GreyGreen split Blue will give you GreyGreen, Green, Grey & Blue chicks

Thanks, I appreciate it. I'm still learning how the color genetics work.Chocobo wrote:You can't get any green offspring from two blues series birds- the mother was probably a GreyGreen and not a Grey. she would also have to of been split to Blue to get Blue babies in the clutch.
