Cage Question

Post by JimHcctx »

I am noticing some of the pictures on this site display a cage design that appears to have a round wire mesh body and the ends are just a 4X4 (or 3X3) square sheet of wire mesh.

I am wondering what the benefits or thoughts behind the cage design over a typical shoebox shaped cage. Less wire? less cutting? Less Bending? Improved circular design which allows the cage to be used by hamsters?

Can anyone provide some insight? Thanks!

Can you reference one of the pics please? So I can have a better idea of what you are asking. :) Thank you.

I've been called 'birdbrained' before, but somehow I don't think this is what they meant. say:hah-nay

You may be onto something, but I think it's actually "usable as a hamper" not "usable by hamsters".....
