SQUEAK - who remembers this little egg?

Post by ringybaby »

I am so sorry that I havnt been in for so long. Real life has been harrassing me so bad. Hubby left, kids have been on holidays and just been too busy. Please accept my apologies.

Well here is this little blue baby that was once a little pink baby;-) For those of you that are new and dont know Squeak, I hand raised him from an egg coz Mum & Dad wouldnt feed him. I was helped through it by the very knowledgeable people on this forum & without them I am sure that I wouldn't have this blue sook now!

He?? She?? Is just so adorable & loves nothing more than to cuddle up and just have scratches on his head & then loves to share my dinner with me. lol

Here are a few pics and I promise I will be in more often now

Can anybody tell me if he/she looks like a boy or a girl. I still dont know and my blue baby is now 4 months old (can you beleive it?)

I would so dearly love to know what sex you think Squeak might be.

Chamon - you still have pics of him as a baby? :o

I have the biggest blue baby now & I would rather be without hubby than without Squeak

hehehe good for you chamon ! and Yes I remember squeak very well too. I still have this picture I made to commemorate his/her growth and your wonderful care:-

Soooo good to see squeak all grown up :D .. glad you are back around

Squeak looks nothing like kai ever did, squeak seems more compact in the body and smaller toes ?, head kinda of arched back and not at all tall and lean looking like kai and jordan (jordan is only 16 weeks or so and displaying male movements). If I had to I would guess a girl. But I have not once ounce of expert in me at all. Just going by body shape comparison.

Cheers !

OMG Squeak is so cute! And so grown up...they grow up so fast. Those pics are so awesome! I agree with Neo, first one I saw I was like that bird is a girl. Fluffs it's feathers just like my Prinny...but then again you never know :D Boy or girl doesn't matter, you've still got one great bird.

Sorry to hear things have been so rough on you ringy! But it's a new year and full of possibilities. And look at your baby now! I was just thinking of you guys the other night! So glad you're doing okay now and so happy to see Squeak! What a gorgeous bird. How fun it must be to know you raised that little baby! Congrats on a job well done!

Thankyou everybody for your thoughts & wishes

Bryan, I live not far from you. I'm on the Central Coast :-) and the date that I joined was the day that Squeak hatched 8)
