Tantrums before bed!
Does anyone have any advice for me. My IRN has started to have major trantrums when i go to put him in his cage. He will try his hardest not to go in and im forced to grab him in order to get him in sometimes. He's starting to think he is the boss of the house i think! Any suggestions??

Hi there,
You might try giving his favorite treat when its time to go in the cage. I had a parrot once who would go in his cage when I told him to. Once he figures out that going in his cage equals yummy treats you probably won't have any more temper tantrums. If he is young he might be going through the bluffing stage and maybe testing your limits at times. Keep working with him....you might spend maybe an hour or something just working with him on goiing in his cage until he goes in by himself.
