Breeding colors

Hi everyone I have an skyblue with a white head female that I bred last year with a plain blue male. The chicks was al blue. One of my friends also a IRN breeder told me that all the chicks will be blue. So what male could I breed with her this year. Please help :D and thanks.

At a guess without seeing photos the female is a blue pallid, which means if you breed her with straight colours then thats all you will get.

You need to pair her to another blue pallid to get birds ike her or the male needs to at least be carying the pallid gene, thats called split too.

So if i breed her with a split lutino/green what colors will i get?

Do you meen a green bird carrying the ino gene?

If so this is the results.

1.0 green /ino
x 0.1 blue pallid
% from all 1.0
50.0% 1.0 pallidIno /blue
50.0% 1.0 green /blue pallid
% from all 0.1
50.0% 0.1 ino /blue
50.0% 0.1 green /blue
