popcorn strings

Post by ellieelectrons »

Just a quick question. I remember reading that someone strings up popcorn and places it in their bird's cage. I was just wondering what you use to string it up with? I'm worried if I use normal cotton thread it might end up wrapped around their feet or something.

Hi Ellie,

I string popcorn for Jack on a piece of dried spagetti - then stick it upright in an apple. Haven't had any trouble with it so far, hope its okay to do, he seems to like nibbling on the dried spaghetti too.

Hi Kiwi

That's sounds really cool (& very inventive). I'll try that! Thanks.

Oh wow I like that idea! I wonder what else I could skewer with edibles...

I've been called 'birdbrained' before, but somehow I don't think this is what they meant. say:hah-nay

I forgot to say the funny tubular spaghetti works particularly well, because it doesn't break as easily as normal spaghetti.
