I have an Olive male and a Grey female. What would the likely results be of breeding these two. I can't quite grasp the calculators I see on line. Also these two great birds are pets. Is it advisable to breed them?? I see most people sell "breeders". These are pets not technically breeders. Do people breed their pets?? Any help would be appreciated..

You can breed your pets, just know that they can get territorial over nestboxes, and even though you are adopted mum or dad to the prospective parents, they might not be as tolerant with you!

I have a very tame cock bird who loves to nibble on my earrings, but when his mate has eggs or they have babies, watch out! i become fair game and he flies at my face if i go near the box, and will attempt to bite me!

Also is it a true olive, or a greygreen? Ive been told there is a difference!
