Lutino male and cinnamon grey(silver) hen

Post by adc330 »

If I breed my lutino with my silver hen what will I get? I am guessing green with hens split to grey and males split to grey, lutino and cinnamon. Or will they be greygreen split lutino? I am not sure , can someone enlighten me please? Thanks.

I am assuming that by green ino that means lutino. On the 25% of the females that are green ino grey/blue will they actually look yellow with grey showing in parts of the body like a grey green only yellow?

Yes green ino is a Lutino
The Hens will also look like plain lutinos except they are not.
I have had a hen like this and didnt know till i got a greygreen in the nest what she actually was genetically.
But you might never know if it was paired back up with a normal lutino cock.
