Stinky Parrot Pellets

Hey,

I've purchased my first bag of parrot pellets. I noticed they are really really smelly and wondered if that is normal. After opening the bag and putting some of the pellets into a jar i noticed the bag has a little hole in it, so I'm wondering whether they are off. Do pellets go off and is it normal for them to have a horrible smell?

Its not normal for them to smell bad. See if the bag has a used by date

I had a look and they are well within their used by date, but i've found a small hole in the bag which means the bag wasn't air tight so they must be off. yuck. i will take them back!
